Betty Woo is the Vice President, Scientific Collaborations and Strategy at Thermo Fisher Scientific, reporting to the Chief Scientific and Chief Commercial Officers in a role created to cultivate deeper scientific engagement through collaboration and partnership. Previous roles in the Company include Vice President, Corporate Accounts (2009-2014); Vice President, Biotechnology (2004 - 2008); and Vice President of Life Sciences Specialists (2006 - 2008). Prior to Thermo Fisher, Betty served in senior commercial roles for Cellomics, a Pittsburgh biotechnology start-up (1998 - 2003), and Univ of Pittsburgh Medical School Department of Pharmacology (1991-1998). Dr. Woo currently serves on the board of directors for the Carnegie Museum of Natural History and the Pittsburgh Life Sciences Greenhouse.
