Winson has over 20 years of experience in practicing data science and analytics to provide solutions for business and engineering challenges. He currently leads a team of data scientists working on projects such as: reducing cyber-attack risk, building energy smart facilities, conducting accurate forecast, and improving customer and employee experience. Prior to joining Microsoft, Winson spent a number of years in Boeing Research & Technology working on next generation composite for aerospace applications. Before that, he was an Associate Professor at Oakland University where he led numerous collaborative analytic projects with the automobile manufacturers. He holds a Ph.D. degree in Statistics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
