From defining and advancing the field of Corporate Relations to codifying best practices, and providing access to top talent across the nation, NACRO has been an invaluable resource to me over the past 5 years. Since 2012, have not only reaped the benefit from but also contributed to the organization in a number of ways including serving on the conference planning committees, Blue Print team, and on professional development committee. The opportunity to serve on the Board will enhance the impact I can have as the organization faces increasing challenges to maintaining its status as the "go-to" resource for Corporate Relations professionals nationally and globally. The strength of NACRO is rooted in the vast and deep experiences that in aggregate reveal emerging themes and best practices. The retention of our more experienced members while also attracting new members is crucial to our future. The organization needs to explore ways stay at the forefront of the field, this requires strong and thoughtful leadership and a cohesive Board.
