I officially joined NACRO in 2012, but discovered the group when researching effective Corporate Relations structures for the program I created at St. Mary’s University in 2011. I attended my first conference in the summer of 2013 and knew at that moment that I wanted and needed to be engaged with this great organization. Since then I have joined several committees but have found my biggest interest to be in the realm of Professional Development. NACRO, to me, is a cornerstone organization for professionals in the corporate relations field. We look to the organization to provide support through benchmarking structures and developing our knowledge. My goal for the professional development committee is to support NACRO in becoming the go-to source for content and understanding of the corporate relations profession. I look forward to working with our members, the board and especially the chair of the committee to realize the NACRO vision as co-chair of the Professional Development committee.
