I’ve been a member of NACRO and its Benchmarking Committee since summer 2014, and have co-chaired the Benchmarking Committee and been a member of the NACRO Board since January, 2016. I believe in the importance of NACRO’s role in conducting and publishing research into industry-university partnerships – their trends, standards & practices, changing expectations, and strategic implementation. And I look forward to helping NACRO begin implementation of our new strategic plan for growth and service expansion.
In my job as Director of Strategic Development for Purdue University’s Discovery Park interdisciplinary research complex, I handle private sector revenue generation and corporate relations for some of Purdue’s biggest research projects & centers, and corporate partners. Before Purdue, I led an education startup from inception to 9-figure annual revenue, and brokered its merger with a larger training firm. My career began in public radio, working for WFIU in Indiana, and managing WUCX in Michigan. Through the years, I’ve held adjunct faculty appointments in music, audio technology, and marketing for Indiana University; telecommunications for Delta College; and music, marketing, and management for Pima Community College. I received an MBA from the University of Arizona Eller School of Management and a BA in Music & Telecommunications from Indiana University.
