Martha McClees is a Corporate Relations Officer at Mayo Clinic. In this role Martha seeks collaborative relationships with corporations to advance Mayo Clinic’s strategic priorities. Ms. McClees began her career at Mayo Clinic in 1989 as education manager for Mayo Medical Laboratories. In 1992, she began a 15-year position as assistant dean for academic affairs at Mayo Medical School. In 2007, Ms. McClees started the Strategic Funding Office for Mayo Clinic College of Medicine to secure gifts, grants and revenue. During this time, she was administrator of the Mayo Clinic Academic Appointments and Promotions Committee and the Named Professors Committee. Ms. McClees was also the first director of Mayo Clinic Quality Academy, which educates Mayo staff in quality design to reduce errors and improve outcomes. Ms. McClees received her M.S. degree from the University of Oregon. Ms. McClees is on the board of the Rochester Public Library Foundation and serves on the Rochester Area Foundation.
