Kathy Lynch is the Director of Corporate Relations at Boston University. Since joining BU in February 2011, Kathy has been working to develop and maintain strong strategic partnerships between the University and industry. She has worked in academia for more than 15 years, most of this time on the research and academic side of the house, including at Boston College.
Kathy has authored numerous papers and articles including: Forgotten Families: The Move to Provide Paid Leave to Adoptive Families (lead author), Work/Life in Mergers and Acquisitions, Exceptional Caregiving, and the Standards of Excellence in Work/Life Integration.
Since joining BU, Kathy has worked to build the Corporate Relations Office. She’s successfully launched the College of Engineering Corporate Leaders Program, the EPIC Industry Advisory Board, and the Massachusetts Open Cloud CORE Partner Model. Working in close collaboration with University Leadership and colleagues in Technology Transfer, Research, Career Services, and Executive Education across BU’s 17 Schools and Colleges, the BU Corporate Relations Office works to help its industrial partners successfully navigate the rich and dynamic BU landscape.
She holds a B.A. from the University of Massachusetts, as well as an MBA from Bentley University. Kathy is married with 3 children ages 17 – 22, and is an avid Yogini.
