Bill Hunter currently serves in Chevron’s University Affairs Organization as the Manager of University Partnerships and Association Relations. In this capacity he is responsible for overseeing and aligning global strategic university relationships as part of Chevron’s University Partnership Program. A petroleum engineer by trade, Bill’s 39 year tenure with Chevron has included a variety of progressive engineering and supervisory roles with a strong focus on organizational capability, career development and recruiting. Prior to joining Chevron’s University Affairs organization, Bill served as the Global Petroleum Engineering Hiring Manger in Chevron’s Upstream & Global Gas division where he was responsible for all aspects of external hiring for Petroleum Engineers including a heavy focus on intern and new grad hiring. Bill has been actively involved in Chevron’s college and intern hiring efforts throughout the course of his career. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from Louisiana State University and is a current member and past President of the Industry Advisory Committee for the LSU Petroleum Engineering Department. He is also a board member for INROADS South Central Region.
