I am seeking the position to improve both NACRO and myself. I have been a member since 2009, and I have seen us grow into an organization facing a major transition. I would like to play a role in that transition. I believe that the strategic nature of the member at large position will provide the opportunity for professional growth that I would like at this point in my career.
I’m a compelling candidate for many reasons! I am a seasoned professional and a leader. I have participated in multiple mid-winter planning conferences as well as annual conference and Mastery, and I have experience on nearly every committee. My participation includes three years on the Conference Committee, a year on the Professional Development Committee and a year on the Membership and Alliances Committee. Through my service I have provided keynote speakers and panelists for NACRO conferences, authored and delivered two webinars, representation of NACRO at CASE. I also co-chaired the Mastery subcommittee and created a process for members to apply as facilitators. My breadth of experience positions me well to take on the job. I have forged relationships across the membership, and I have made substantive contributions that benefit all.
Significant NACRO Contribution
Developed two of five webinars delivered to date; created application and process for Master facilitators; brought in two keynote speakers (one to Michigan, one to Maryland) and three industry panelists; developed Blueprint Serving as CASE Newcomers Corporate Relations 101 as well as delivering NACRO panel and materials to CASE CFR conference. Active participation in mid-winter leadership and planning conference.
